Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS and ACLS required on hire.
• KS/MO Paramedic certifications.
• State Driver’s License.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.
• PALS preferred but not required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations to determine best action per paramedic protocols.
• Use paramedic skills on medical equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to convey care.
• Act as scene and unit leader when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety teams.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
