Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to float across outpatient clinics in Michigan. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, educate patients, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams while adapting to multiple clinical settings.

Minimum two years of outpatient nursing experience and current Michigan RN licensure are required, along with BLS. Flexible scheduling includes 2 days/week with potential for more; weekend pay differential offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of related clinical nursing experience in outpatient settings.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in diverse outpatient clinic settings, adapting quickly to different clinical environments and patient populations
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practice standards
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, physicians, and clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, patient education, and health promotion activities
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support positive health outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Henry Ford Health System standards
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, flexibility, and continuous learning across multiple clinic locations
