Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a float role covering South Riverside County locations including Temecula, Hemet, and Menifee. The position requires training, flexibility, and travel between sites to support patient care across the service area.

Candidates must hold an active CA NP or PA license with corresponding legal requirements, current BLS, and board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• Active California NP license in good standing is required.
• Current CA DEA licensure is required.
• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program is required.
• Active California PA license in good standing is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
• Board Certification (ANCC/AANPCB) or eligible with certification within 12 months of hire is required.
• Board Certification (NCCPA) or eligible with certification within 12 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Records findings and formulates plan and prognosis.
• Discusses cases with providers to prepare care plans.
• Submits health care plans for periodic review.
• Prescribes drugs or therapies as appropriate.
• Refers patients to providers for specialized care.
• Maintains alignment with Neighborhood Healthcare mission and goals.
• Operates to instill confidence in care and facilities.
