Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a float Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality primary and family care across multiple clinics. The role includes both in-person and virtual visits, with strong clinical support and guidelines to follow.

You will manage diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, and coordination of care while balancing clinic operations and patient follow-up. Multistate licensure and BLS are expected; flexibility to float between Chicago-area clinics is required.

Qualifications

• NPs: 1 year NP experience preferred; new grads may be considered.
• Active FNP license in good standing
• Multi-state licensure may be required
• Ability to provide holistic care including pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices
• DOT certification within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based primary and family care (assessment, diagnosis, treatment)
• Provide in-person and virtual visits from the clinic
• Perform diagnostic testing and preventive counseling
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Engage patients in wellness and chronic disease management
• Handle clinic operations (inventory, opening/closing, follow-up, insurance verification, payments)
• Maintain a safe and efficient care environment
