This float role requires regular travel between sites and may involve short‑notice changes; it also includes float supplemental compensation of $15,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• California NP or PA license in good standing is required.
• RN license in good standing is required.
• DEA CA licensure is required and maintained.
• BLS certification through an AHA-approved source required on hire.
• Board certification or eligible within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned locations within the service area.
• Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Record findings and formulate care plans with prognosis.
• Discuss cases with providers to prepare comprehensive plans.
• Submit care plans for periodic review by providers.
• Prescribe or recommend medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Refer patients to providers for specialized resources.
• Maintain alignment with organizational goals and team development.
• Identify training needs and promote team development.
• Operate under NP Supervisory Agreement and maintain confidentiality.
• Work with care teams to improve patient health outcomes.
