Job summary

Radiology Imaging Associates (ISJ network) seeks a Float MRI/CT Technologist to cover multiple Denver-area facilities. The role requires ARRT MR/CT, CPR/BLS, and travel between sites. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 10% float differential on base wage are offered to support coverage needs.

The position is full-time with responsibilities spanning MRI/CT procedures, patient prep, safety protocols, and coordination with radiologists to ensure timely, quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR and CT mandatory.
• 1–2 years MRI experience preferred.
• Maintain ARRT continuing education requirements.
• Regular travel between ISJ clinic sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered achieving quality and timeliness.
• Escorts patients to treatment rooms and assists with dressings as needed.
• Completes all paperwork to ensure timely CT services delivery.
• Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns.
• Practices radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Completed paperwork and interpretation by radiologist.
• Conducts quality control to monitor machine performance and report malfunctions.
• Maintains professional atmosphere with courteous interactions.
• Responds to medical emergencies including CPR.
• Assists patients with positioning and preventing falls.

Float MRI / CT Technologist | Denver Metro Area

Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations

Due to travel expectations to multiple facilities in the South Denver Area, this position offers additional Float Differential pay of 10% of base wage per hour

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality and timeliness
• Escorts patients to a treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary
• Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services
• Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist
• Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager
• Focuses on customer service and users courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere
• Required to respond to a medical emergency including administering CPR
• Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) and (CT) mandatory
• 1-2 years magnetic resonance experience preferred
• Must maintain and meet continuing education requirement as set forth by the the ARRT
• Required regular travel between ISJ clinic sites depending on patient capacity/volumes and other critical needs
• Must be able to work independently
• Reliable transportation
• CPR/BLS Certified
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English

The pay range for this position is $42.00 to $57.00/hr. This position also includes additional float differential pay of 10% of base wage.

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis, and this position will remain open until filled.

Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. Part-time employees may have access to some of these benefits, which may be on a pro-rated basis. PRN employees are not eligible for benefits.
