Job summary

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is seeking a Float MRI/CT Technologist to cover multiple facilities in the Denver metro area. Travel between ISJ clinic sites is required, with a 10% float differential added to base pay.

The role performs MRI and CT procedures, ensures patient safety, and maintains quality documentation. ARRT MR/CT certification is mandatory with relevant experience and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR and CT certifications required.
• 1-2 years MRI experience preferred.
• Must maintain ARRT CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and CT procedures with high quality and timeliness.
• Escorts patients and assists with dressings as needed.
• Completes CT paperwork for timely service delivery.
• Explains procedures to address patient questions.
• Practices radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Completes required paperwork and coordinates with radiologist.
• Monitors machine performance and reports malfunctions.
• Maintains professional customer service with patients and staff.
• Responds to medical emergencies including CPR.
• Assists with patient positioning to prevent falls.

Float MRI / CT Technologist | Denver Metro Area

Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations. Due to travel expectations to multiple facilities in the South Denver Area, this position offers additional Float Differential pay of 10% of base wage per hour.

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality and timeliness
• Escorts patients to a treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary
• Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services
• Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist
• Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager
• Focuses on customer service and users courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere
• Required to respond to a medical emergency including administering CPR
• Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) and (CT) mandatory
• 1-2 years magnetic resonance experience preferred
• Must maintain and meet continuing education requirement as set forth by the the ARRT
• Required regular travel between ISJ clinic sites depending on patient capacity/volumes and other critical needs
• Must be able to work independently
• Reliable transportation
• CPR/BLS Certified
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English

The pay range for this position is $42.00 to $57.00/hr. This position also includes additional float differential pay of 10% of base wage.

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associate’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis, and this position will remain open until filled.
