In this dynamic role, you will support multiple clinics by managing patient check-ins and registration across primary care and specialty care ambulatory settings. Assignments are based on operational needs, and schedules are provided one week in advance.
This role requires strong adaptability, the ability to work independently, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to quickly learn clinic workflows and provide a welcoming, professional experience for patients at all locations. A background in customer service or patient-facing roles is highly valued, as delivering exceptional patient experience is a top priority. Team collaboration and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
Provides the highest quality of customer service for patients and others by performing all duties in a professional and engaging manner. Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and others, (in person, at the check-in desk, or via the telephone). Responsible for answering incoming calls and/or checking in / out patients per established protocols. Responsible for scheduling patient appointments and registering patients at multiple Nebraska Medicine facilities.
