Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to support multiple locations across Kansas City and surrounding areas. You will cover shifts, assist with patient care, and ensure a friendly guest experience with physicians.

The role requires Medical Assistant graduation, CPR/BLS certification, and MA certification or registration where required. Travel across sites is expected, with a 4x10 shift pattern (Mon–Fri).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Process tests and document in the medical record per guidelines.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
