Job summary

Vera Whole Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (Float) to support multiple centers across the Columbus market. You will travel between two locations, assisting providers with exams, immunizations, phlebotomy, and lab processing to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires 1+ year of MA experience, phlebotomy skills, and familiarity with EMR systems (Athena is a plus). Certification is not required, and the schedule is Mon–Fri with a 1-hour lunch.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Phlebotomy is required.
• EMR experience such as Athena is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take manual vital signs and document in the EMR.
• Assist providers with exams, tests, and point‑of‑care testing.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and oral medications.
• Observe and record patient reactions and perform phlebotomy.
• Process labs, swabs, and other samples.
