Job summary

Vera Whole Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (Float) to support multiple Columbus-area clinics, traveling between two sites as needed. You will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care in a fast-paced primary care setting.

The role requires 1+ year of experience, phlebotomy, and immunization administration, with EMR experience (Athena a plus). You’ll work with providers and clinic teams, performing exams support, vital signs, specimen

Qualifications

• Take manual vital signs and document in EMR.
• Assist providers with exams, diagnostic tests, and point-of-care testing.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and oral medications.
• Perform phlebotomy and prepare lab specimens.
• Manage patient flow and front desk duties when needed.
• Travel to multiple Columbus market sites for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical and administrative tasks to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Collaborate with providers and clinic teams across sites.
• Document accurately in the EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with scheduling, registrations, and outreach as needed.
