Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Hartford is seeking a Medical Assistant – Float to provide flexible clinical support across multiple specialties. You will room patients, record vital signs, assist with procedures, and help maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

This role requires adaptability, strong organization, and the ability to collaborate with diverse care teams in a fast-paced environment. You will help manage patient flow and support front desk tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience required.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance preferred; National Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms; prepares patients for examination and treatment.
• Obtains pertinent history and records it in the medical record; takes patient vital signs.
• Processes and files lab/diagnostic results and clinical notes after physician review.
• Coordinates patient flow and collaborates with reception to ensure timely visits.
• Assists front office by answering calls and scheduling appointments.
