Alium Health seeks a dedicated Float Medical Assistant to support patient care across its Mesa and Shea clinics. Under supervision, you will assist nurses and providers, perform general procedures, and contribute to health education while traveling between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certification: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with at least two years of ambulatory care experience; State Certification and CPR required; Certified Phlebotomy preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and histories; ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient treatment, follow-up, and health education as required.
• Perform general medical office procedures and use of medical equipment.
• Provide health education to patients, families and community practitioners.
• Follow OSHA/AZDHS safety and infection-control guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings, support problem identification and solution implementation.
• Assist with medical administrative tasks and chart documentation.
• Provide float coverage at Mesa and Shea clinics and travel between locations as needed.
