Job summary

St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands Hospital in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float/Flex Team. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments and skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery, document thoroughly, educate patients and families, and uphold safety and best practices in alignment with hospital standards.

Qualifications

• ADN required with RN license in TX
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• BLS/CPR required on hire and maintained

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to provide cost-effective, patient-focused care.
• Perform ongoing assessments, nursing diagnoses, goals, interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Document in patient and unit records per hospital standards to ensure quality care.
• Provide teaching to patients and families on pain management, nutrition, skin care, falls prevention, diabetes, discharge planning.
• Demonstrate commitment to hospital values and patient safety while upholding ethical standards.
• Collaborate with Outcomes managers and department on research opportunities when applicable
