Job summary

UNC Health's Rex Staffing Response Team is hiring experienced ICU/CCU nurses to float across inpatient units at UNC REX Raleigh and Holly Springs. This full-time night shift offers 36 hours/week, a supportive team, and opportunities to work in MSICU, CVICU, CVSICU, NSICU.

Eligible candidates will have Critical Care ICU experience, NC RN licensure, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Incentives include up to $20k commitment, $25k tuition loan forgiveness, relocation up to $10k, and a referral

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing and licensure as an RN in NC.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing within seven years of employment (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provides competent clinical nursing care and coordinates patient care per nursing process.
• Educates patients and families and assesses learning needs.
• Evaluates and revises plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates leadership to promote professional growth and unit goals.
• Assesses priorities for care and plans discharge needs with families.
• Collaborates with multiple resources to plan and deliver care.
• Keeps abreast of relevant research and applies applicable findings.
