Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• Experience working on a float team.
• Excellent attendance and work history.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates the patient plan of care based on ongoing assessment and family input.
• Collaborates with health care team to promote effective patient care.
• Verifies and implements orders from physicians and documents in the EMR.
• Engages patient/family to develop education plans.
• Recognizes symptoms and responds to changing needs.
• Supports staff by delegating tasks as appropriate.
• Advocates for patients and families and the nursing profession.
• Participates in leadership and teaching activities.
• Pursues professional growth and development.
