Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is seeking a CDL - ASL Driver to operate an automated side load truck on assigned routes. You will service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers and ensure safe collection, transport, and disposal of materials, while maintaining professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automated side load truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns or route delays promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Use onboard technology to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates after completing routes; follow DOT rules and PPE guidelines.
