Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, financial services, retail sales, or another member-facing environment.
• Ability to adapt to different work locations and changing priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed work style with the ability to work independently.
• Call center or digital banking experience is a plus.
• Ability to work at multiple branch locations as assigned.
• Fridays 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and rotating Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional member service through face-to-face interactions, video banking, telephone, and digital chat platforms.
• Assist members with everyday account maintenance and service requests.
• Open memberships and help members understand available products and services.
• Process transactions and service requests, including stop payments, check orders, account updates, and wire transfers.
• Support operations in multiple branch locations based on staffing and business demands.
• Utilize Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) technology to provide efficient member assistance.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with additional financial solutions and refer to specialized banking staff when appropriate.
• Stay current on credit union products, procedures, compliance requirements, and service standards.
• Contribute to a positive member experience.
