Job summary

St. Barnabas Health System is seeking a Float Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients across multiple sites including Arbors Valencia, Arbors Gibsonia and St. Barnabas Nursing Home.

The role runs 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with travel between locations required and a full-time status. The position offers pay at $27 per hour plus shift differentials with opportunities for additional earnings. Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Make regular rounds on residents checking for location, safety and wellbeing.
• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, incontinence care, transferring, and ambulation.
• Encourage residents to function at their highest level of independence possible.
• Deliver mail/newspapers to residents.
• Set dining room tables for meals and deliver meal trays as needed.
• Assist Food Service with plating, cleaning tables, and other duties as needed.
• Pass snacks to residents.
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas.
• Strip, clean and make beds; transport soiled linen.
• Deliver clean linens and handle laundry.
• Encourage participation in activities and assist with recreational programs.
• Document as indicated; provide residents with medication and treatment assistance.
• Assist nurse with taking vital signs.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
