Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Float CNA to provide patient care across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. The role covers dayshifts (7:45 am–8:15 pm), three shifts per week, and requires flexibility to work at various locations under RN supervision.

The CNA will deliver quality, patient-centered care, perform ADLs, monitor vital signs, and participate in IDG meetings, contributing to Full Life Care for All.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License.
• Six months recent experience in Hospice, Home Health or acute care setting preferred.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic personal care such as bed, shower or tub bath, oral hygiene, toileting, skin care, ambulation, and exercise as directed by the RN and assigned by the patient’s plan of care (POC).
• Measures and records vital signs as ordered and report any changes to the RN.
• Communicates and regularly updates the RN regarding observations, progress/deterioration and comfort needs of the patient.

**Suncoast Hospice**, a member of **Empath Health**, is seeking a caring and motivated Float CNA to provide patient care at our Care Center in Pinellas County and Hillsborough county on the following schedule: dayshift 7:45 am to 8:15pm 3 shifts a week. The CNA delivers quality, patient-centered care under the direction of a licensed nurse, while monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition.
