Job summary

Kinwell Health seeks a Medical Assistant (CMA) in Washington state to greet patients, take vitals, assist physicians, and prepare exam rooms. You will support procedures, perform rapid tests and lab draws, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits.

The role requires CMA certification, WA DOH credential, high school diploma, and BLS preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months. EPIC EMR experience is a plus in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant (CMA) by time of hire.
• Active Washington state certification through DOH as CMA or Interim CMA.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience using EPIC EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for exams, including vital signs and medical history.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatment.
• Provide patients with information about visits and ensure comfort.
• Set up for and assist in procedures.
• Dispense medications and medical supplies as ordered by the physician.
• Perform ancillary tests such as rapid tests and blood draws.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and stockrooms.
• Maintain inventory of lab and clinic supplies and reorder as needed.
• Assist with managing clinic and clinician schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with PCCs to review visit schedules and support daily huddles.
