Job summary

Kinwell Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our North Country Homes clinic. You will greet patients, prepare them for exams, and assist clinicians during visits while maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

The role requires CMA certification by hire and WA DOH licensure, with BLS preferred. You will work on-site in a fast-paced primary care setting, supporting patient flow and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by time of hire.
• Active Washington DOH certification as CMA or Interim CMA.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Health Care strongly preferred or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, prepare for exams, obtain vital signs, review medications and history.
• Assist clinicians during examinations and treatments.
• Provide patient information and ensure comfort before and during visits.
• Set up procedures and assist with dispensing medications and supplies.
• Perform routine lab tests and manage lab documentation.
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and stockrooms.
• Manage clinic and clinician schedules to maximize efficiency and patient flow.
