Job summary

Kinwell is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Lynnwood clinic. You will handle patient greetings, chart prep, and appointment flow under direct clinician supervision, ensuring efficient patient throughput.

We require CMA certification, WA DOH credential, and BLS; EPIC experience is preferred. The role is on-site in Lynnwood with a comprehensive benefits package and a $5,000 sign-on for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant CMA by time of hire.
• Active Washington DOH CMA/Interim CMA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification strongly preferred or willing to obtain within six months.
• Experience using EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical history.
• Assist clinicians during patient examinations and treatments.
• Provide patients with visit information and ensure comfort before and during exams.
• Set up for procedures and dispense medications as ordered by the clinician.
• Perform rapid testing, blood draws, and routine lab procedures as ordered.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, labs and stockrooms.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation in the EMR system.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic operations improvements.
