Job summary

Global Medical Response, via Med-Trans, is seeking a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of our EC135 airframes and rotor-wing fleet in a full-time role. This position requires an A&P license and turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with flexibility for overtime and on-call rotations.

Competitive starting salary plus stipends and sign-on bonus are offered. Responsibilities include inspections, parts management, FAA documentation, and collaboration

Qualifications

  • EC135 Maintenance experience or equivalent
  • Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance with at least six months in the last 24 months
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid State driver's license
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and planning
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations
  • Must be acceptable under FAA drug and alcohol testing program
  • Must be able to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide statuses to Lead Technician
  • Manage inventory checks, update logs, request replacements and document expenditures
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information per company policies and security standards
  • Maintain safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew
  • Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for efficient operations
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team
