Job summary

The Rural Metro Fire Department is seeking a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure the maintenance and safety of our fleet. This position will focus on maintaining our EC135 airframe within Med-Trans.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience and possess a valid A&P license. We offer an attractive starting salary ranging from $65,239 to $113,480 annually, alongside a float stipend, sign-on bonus, and an equal opportunity work environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance in the last 24 months.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Acceptable per FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including inspections, repairs, and updates.
• Manage inventory checks and equipment tracking logs.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment for team.
