Job summary

The Rural Metro Fire Department is seeking a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure the maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,239 to $113,480 annually, alongside additional stipends and a sign-on bonus.

Ideal candidates will have significant turbine helicopter maintenance experience, an A&P license, and the ability to work flexible schedules to meet operational demands. Join us to deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Qualifications

• Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience.
• Must have at least six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections and repairs.
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information.

Skills

EC135 Maintenance experience

Turbine helicopter maintenance experience

Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent
