Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in North Carolina. The role ensures the safety and maintenance of our EC135 fleet, supporting high-quality patient transport services.

Requires EC135 maintenance experience, a valid A&P license, and the ability to work flexible, 24/7 on-call shifts. We offer a competitive starting salary with stipends and sign-on bonuses, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

EC135 maintenance experience required.
Three years turbine helicopter maintenance, including at least 6 months in last 24 months.
Valid A&P license and state driver's license.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Knowledge of FAA regulations and EMS/aircraft maintenance systems.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
Must be acceptable under FAA drug/alcohol testing requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular statuses to Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks, stock, tracking logs and replacement requests; document expenditures.
Document service paperwork and FAA information; comply with policies and information security.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for repairs and logistics.
Collaborate with AMTs and operations team professionally and support EMS/public safety personnel.
