Job summary

Guardian Flight is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Sitka, AK. The AMT will maintain aircraft within our fleet, specifically King Air B200/B300 and Learjet 45; ensure safety and quality of patient transport services.

Minimum 3 years turboprop/turbine experience, valid A&P, and FAA knowledge required; HS diploma or GED; ability to lift 50 lbs and push 100+ lbs; willingness to work flexible hours and comply with FAA drug testing. Competitive starting salary and stipends included.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
• Valid A&P license and FAA knowledge.
• State driver's license and HS diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of FAR and EMS maintenance systems/records.
• Flexible schedule including overtime; FAA drug/alcohol testing compliance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory, update logs, request replacements and document expenditures.
• Document FAA information and adhere to policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for AMTs and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for tasks.
