Job summary

Guardian Flight, LLC is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Ketchikan, AK. You will maintain King Air B200/B300 and Learjet 45 airframes to ensure safe, timely patient transport services.

The role includes heavy maintenance duties, inventory management, and documentation of FAA paperwork. A&P license, 3+ years turboprop/turbine experience, and a flexible schedule are required for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years turboprop/turbine fixed-wing experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
• Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance records and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
• Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including inspections and repairs on the fleet.
• Manage inventory checks and document part expenditures.
• Document FAA paperwork and comply with company policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for smooth operations.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and operations teams.
