Job summary

Guardian Flight is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Juneau, AK, to ensure the safety and maintenance of our King Air B200/B300 and Learjet 45 fleet. The role supports timely patient transport with oversight from the Lead Technician.

Candidates must have 3+ years turboprop/turbine experience, an A&P license, FAA knowledge, and be able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years turboprop/turbine fixed-wing experience.
• Valid A&P license.
• Valid state driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations.
• EMS maintenance systems, records and planning experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
• Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including inspections and repairs and report status to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory, update logs, and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and maintain security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for AMTs and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members efficiently.
• Collaborate with allied health/public safety and operations teams.

• Starting Salary: $65,239 - $137,122 annually

We're hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our King Air B200/B300 and Learjet 45 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Three (3) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• King Air B200, 300 and/or Learjet 45 maintenance experience or equivalent
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under CFR Part 14
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
