Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Juneau, AK to maintain and secure the safety of our fleet, including King Air B200/B300 and Learjet 45 aircraft.

The role requires a valid A&P license, FAA knowledge, and at least 3 years of turboprop/turbine experience. The schedule is 14 days on/14 days off with a competitive starting salary and stipends to support relocation and flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests, and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use effective communication to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow AMTs and the operations team.
