Job summary

New Fortress Energy Inc. in Houston seeks a FLNG Training Manager to lead the global FLNG training program.

Based at the Houston HQ, you will oversee internal and third-party training, including On-Job Training, and ensure records and certifications are current. The ideal candidate has 5+ years offshore training, supervisory experience, and a degree or adult training cert, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field and/or adult training certification.
• Five years in offshore, maritime, or oil & gas terminal training, with 2 years in supervision.
• Offshore, maritime, LNG, or oil & gas terminal facility experience preferred.
• Ability to build and lead a team focused on safety, ethics, and development.
• Demonstrates integrity, proactive problem solving, and process orientation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support selection and management of third party training providers.
• Lead development and oversight of the internal FLNG training program including OJT.
• Develop and maintain FLNG training matrices.
• Plan and drive training matrix implementation for FLNG facilities.
• Ensure training records and certifications are organized and accessible.
• Provide reports on FLNG personnel training compliance.
• Coordinate with Operations to complete required training for safety needs.
