Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for a Manufacturing Tech Analyst (Associate or Mid Level) to support the 787 Flightline Manufacturing Engineering team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves writing work instructions and providing hands-on shop-floor assistance to ensure robust, reproducible product output for the factory team, including engineering changes and build plan support.

Associate Level requires 3+ years aviation experience and the ability to work any shift; Mid Level

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant aviation experience.
• Comfortable in ship side support, rapid reaction role.
• Willing and able to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data to recommend product/process improvements.
• Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
• Develops tooling requirements from manufacturing and engineering needs.
• Performs troubleshooting of airplane systems.
• Provides line-side support for operations.
• Manages projects using approved PM techniques.
• Coordinates improvements in engineering designs and manufacturing processes.
• Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation.
• Assists with training on procedures and processes for engineering and production.
• Performs technical/administrative activities to meet regulatory and production requirements.
• Communicates with internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Be flexible and adaptable in a diverse and demanding environment and work schedule.
