Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a W87-1 Flight Test Vehicle System Engineer to join the W87-1 Systems team for system integration, assembly, and testing of Flight Test Vehicles. The role supports EFTU and DJTA10 integration with USAF assets and involves collaboration across multiple engineering domains.

Onsite 100% work and up to 25% travel. Salary ranges from $121,900 to $237,800 with competitive benefits and clearances. DOE security requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Design and innovate: create test equipment, cables, and hardware and lead mechanical assembly procedures and test plans.
• Integrate systems: develop requirements, collaborate across engineering domains to integrate subsystems.
• Provide technical direction: guide technologists in assembly, calibration, troubleshooting and operation of hardware.
