Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks motivated Performance and Flying Qualities Engineers to support flight test operations at Edwards AFB in California. The role requires collaboration on test strategy, pre-CDR planning, and a range of flight test analyses.

Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to work with diverse teams. The position offers roles from junior to senior levels with salary based on skill and education, and requires the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance up to Top

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in project activities, briefings, reports, and proposals.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools.
• Must be eligible for DoD security clearance up to Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Be part of engineering team in test strategy development with program office focal points.
• Provide assessments of pre-CDR test planning processes and documents.
• Significant contributor to flight planning, execution, analysis, and reporting documents.
• Junior to Senior experience in P&FQ test and evaluation including envelope expansion and flight controls.
• Provides technical consultation to other organizations or customers.
• Directs interface with internal and external customers at all levels of test activities and reviews.
• Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and recommends corrections in analysis.
• Prepares, delivers, and submits technical papers and performs data analysis.
• Maintains project responsibility and informs management of progress.
