Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks an experienced leader to manage design, development, and testing of Flight Test assets at Edwards AFB and other sites. You will oversee cross-functional teams, coordinate resources, and drive mission success in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

You will require an active security clearance, strong communication, and a proven ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams through airworthiness and flight test challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or STEM field or relevant operational/flight test experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in an aviation environment.
• Active Secret clearance or higher and ability to obtain SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and testing of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and components.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, performance assessment, and discipline for test engineers and staff.
• Ensure flight test readiness, instrumentations, and test execution per plans and procedures.
• Direct IPTs and cross-site coordination to meet schedule and safety requirements.
