Lockheed Martin seeks an Aeronautical Engineering Associate Manager for the Eglin Flight Test Team to lead a cross-functional group supporting F-16 flight tests and T-2 modifications at Eglin AFB, FL. Responsibilities include program planning, test execution, and tight coordination with maintenance, manufacturing, and system specialists.

Qualifications

• Fighter aircraft configuration management, sustainment, maintenance, or production experience.
• Extensive knowledge of F-16 flight testing including avionics maintenance and weapons systems.
• Experience with flight test of military aircraft.
• Experience with completing modifications of avionics/mission systems and/or vehicle/utility systems
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Leadership experience to manage an integrated USAF team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional team supporting F-16 flight testing.
• Plan flight test programs and coordinate with maintenance, Manufacturing, and test resources.
• Mentor engineers and oversee training, performance assessments, and growth.
• Represent the organization as technical contact for Test and Evaluation directorate.
• Coordinate with senior external personnel on significant technical matters.
• Ensure configuration management and maintain aircraft test schedules.
• Approve/handle alternate shifts, overtime, travel, and weekend work as needed.
