Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer to advance autonomous flight programs and telemetry systems. You will implement instrumentation, data management, and RF solutions for high-stakes flight tests across multiple programs in the United States.

You will collaborate with UAS discipline engineers, customers, airworthiness experts, and program managers to ensure safety, speed-to-ramp, and reliability.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or Radar Systems/Data Science background.
• 5+ years of experience with embedded data acquisition on aircraft (manned/unmanned).
• Proficient data visualization using MATLAB/LabVIEW/Simulink.
• Experience with high-channel-count measurement systems and RF telemetry.
• Grounding, bonding and shielding expertise for instrumentation signals.

Mansioni

• Decompose requirements to select/install flight test instrumentation and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with UAS engineers, customers, airworthiness experts, and program managers to inform safety and speed-to-ramp decisions.
• Lead investigations to diagnose instrumentation and RF issues and improve reliability.
• Design analytics-driven customer-facing products showing system performance metrics and trends.
• Install sensors, data paths, and equipment into experimental aircraft and route wiring.
• Calibrate instruments and sign off GO/NO-GO flight test decisions.
• Operate and maintain telemetry ground systems using COTS hardware/software.
• Travel up to 50% to support test planning/execution in the field.
