Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Flight Test Instrumentation Integration Engineer to join SIT&E. You will design, develop, integrate and test real-time data acquisition systems on the factory floor at Palmdale/Edwards AFB.

This 100% on-site role requires handling HITL hardware, software configurations and test artifacts, with shifts including 4x10 and 3x10 schedules; a Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in a STEM discipline and 0–2 years of engineering experience.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting systems to identify root causes.
• Experience with Windows, AutoCAD, and MatLab is preferred.
• Familiarity with Symvionics IADS software or Mission Control Room operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical issues on production floor using instructions, models and specs.
• Establish long-term installation planning for articles.
• Compile data and define changes required in testing procedures.
• Help define automated test strategies for HITL systems.
• Clarify work instructions to operations staff and modify as needed.
• Draft, track, and close Prep Items for testing.
• Create test ConOps flows to maximize test resource utility while meeting schedule and tech requirements.
• Coordinate integrated testing activities and review requirements for compliance.
