Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) seeks an Instrumentation Engineer to support H-53K flight test systems at Patuxent River, MD. You will troubleshoot, design instrumentation, configure software, and oversee data processing for complex SFTI systems.

You will work with DoD programs, ensure data accuracy, and contribute to post-flight analysis, calibration, and ground station operations. U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Physics or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 1-3 years of experience required; more experience desired.
• Experience with flight test instrumentation design, programming and validation tools.
• Current Driver's License; able to be insured for company vehicles.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance.
• All candidates must pass background screening (SSN, Driver Record, Criminal).

Responsibilities

• Support H-53K instrumentation operations and data handling.
• Data download, processing, and TPS ground station operations.
• Instrumentation system design, integration, calibration, flight support.
• Manage small to medium instrumentation projects (cost, schedule, performance).
• Provide pre-/post-flight data validation and data playback as required.
