Job summary

RTX, based at Edwards AFB, CA, is seeking an Electronic/Flight Test Engineer to support the AMRAAM missile program. The role involves hands-on lab and flight-line testing, data collection, and rapid analysis in demanding conditions.

You will perform integration, verification, and testing to ensure compliance with requirements, with travel and access requirements for program security. A BS in engineering and 0–2 years of experience are typical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a BS in Electrical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering, Physics, Math or related field with <2 years of experience.
• Experience with flight testing procedures and verification activities.
• Experience with data collection and test analysis.
• Proficiency in MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and testing in lab or field per specifications.
• Conduct data collection, review data elements, and provide quick-look reports.
• Hands-on lab and flight-test support under potentially extreme conditions.
• Support flight line testing around operational aircraft.
• Domestic travel required, typically one week.
• Obtain and maintain required program access.
