JT4, LLC seeks an experienced Flight Test Instrumentation Technician Level III to maintain airborne test systems for advanced fighter aircraft. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation on-aircraft, and fabricate cable harnesses to interface with sensors and data systems.
The role requires hands-on expertise with electronics, test equipment, and RF devices, plus the ability to work in field environments and obtain security clearance.
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
What You Will Do with JT4
The Flight Test Instrumentation Technician Level III will help us maintain all aspects of the flight test systems for a variety of advanced fighter aircraft. The Technician will conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
An associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college; or technical schooling with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory; or a military equivalent and a minimum of seven (7) years of hands‑on experience are required for this position.
In addition, an Electronics Technician III must possess the following qualifications:
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $84,000 to $94,000 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Employee will be required to work some shift work, at remote locations, and occasional over-night assignments.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor duties may be performed on even or uneven surfaces, which may be dry or wet. Grease or oil may be found on working surfaces. Outdoor duties may be performed on gravel or shingled roof. Climbing stairs, ladders, towers, and scaffolds, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, (anything heavier requires two or more people or mechanical assistance) are required. A government vehicle is used on an as-needed basis.
