Job summary

The Boeing Company in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Flight Termination System Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level or Senior) to support weapons flight test programs. This role may require travel and shifts may include days or evenings.

You will collaborate with Range Safety Officers, program offices and leaders to obtain FTS certification, ensure RCC-319/324 compliance, and contribute to test artifacts and documentation. Relocation offered; US citizenship and security clearance required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, CS, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Experienced with engineering in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with others to develop and deploy Flight Termination Systems in support of weapons flight test programs.
• Ensure compliance with RCC-319, RCC-324, Contractual Requirements, etc.
• Identify required products, systems, and materials for FTS system.
• Determine test artifacts and methods for demonstrating compliance at the component and system level.
• Design and implement test fixtures to verify component performance.
• Perform analysis of qualification testing and generate documentation demonstrating system compliance.
• Closely partner with Range Safety Officers, Customer Program Offices, Program Leadership, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to obtain FTS System Certification for flight.
• Provide inputs to Earned Value Management for tracking progress on work packages.
• Ability to travel and support flight testing on an as needed basis.
