Job summary

Created Solutions is seeking a Range Safety & Flight Termination Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's Targets and Countermeasures Engineering Directorate under the TEAMS Next MDS Engineering program. The role focuses on flight termination systems, range safety compliance, and support for flight tests across launch and reentry platforms.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with FTS/ordnance systems, RCC standards, and strong communication skills to briefing government and industry

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
Minimum of 12 years of related professional experience.
Experience with flight termination and ordnance systems.
Familiarity with RCC standards and flight safety analysis tools.
Knowledge of GPS, IMUs, and C-band tracking.
Strong written and verbal communication; able to brief gov/industry stakeholders.
Willingness to travel for flights/tests.

Responsibilities

Serve as Range Safety SME during flight tests and related activities.
Oversee requirements development, allocation, verification for flight termination products.
Monitor FTS hardware/software during development and testing.
Prepare technical reports documenting status and findings.
Represent government stakeholders in design reviews and forums.
