Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with CAD modeling using Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of GD&T, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• 2+ years leading Mechanical Engineering teams.
• Experience with hypersonic systems or flight systems.
• Experience with systems packaging and weight tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of design engineers from conceptual to final design for a space-based vehicle.
• Coordinate electrical design with other integration teams.
• Develop PDPs/ADPs and manage the review and release process.
• Review MBOMs, data sheets, ICDs, specifications, and analyses.
• Support program milestone reviews and provide progress updates.
