Job summary

Reliable Robotics Corporation is seeking a Flight Software Manager to lead a team focused on safety critical embedded software for autonomous flight. You will mature processes to balance rapid engineering with rigorous DO-178C verification and collaborate across GNC, Avionics, and Systems to ensure certifiable software.

You’ll guide architecture and roadmaps, prioritize work, and empower a high-performance team to deliver robust flight software enabling advanced autonomy at our Mountain View HQ.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, or related discipline.
7+ years of real-time embedded C/C++ software development.
3+ years in a technical leadership or people management role.
Experience with complex hardware-software intersection.
Experience with GNC algorithms, flight dynamics, and state estimation.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the flight software team ensuring certifiable software.
Mature engineering processes to balance execution with DO-178C verification.
Develop and execute technical roadmaps with cross-functional leads.
Ensure robustness, reliability, and on-time delivery of flight software for autonomy.
