Job summary

Reliable Robotics is hiring a Flight Software Engineer to develop highly deterministic C++ software for embedded systems in aviation. The role includes working with sensors, control systems, and flight hardware in the lab and in the air, with a focus on rigorous testing and fault handling.

You will contribute to requirements, implement unit tests, and plan flight testing as part of a mission-driven team improving safety in aviation. This is a full-time position based in Mountain View, CA.

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years professional programming experience in C or C++
• Professional experience developing software for high performance embedded or safety critical applications

Responsibilities

• Develop highly deterministic C++ software in a bare metal environment with sensors and control systems
• Drive requirements and implement excellent unit tests
• Work directly with flight hardware in the lab and on the plane, plan flight testing and watch code fly an aircraft
