Job summary

Qualifications

• Embedded or real-time software development experience using C and/or C++.
• Experience with spacecraft or mission‑critical embedded environments.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development and Git CM tools.
• Strong written communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded flight software for spacecraft, payloads, or scientific instruments.
• Develop software using C and C++ within real‑time, resource‑constrained environments.
• Build or maintain flight applications using NASA cFS/cFE architecture.
• Develop and integrate software running on RTEMS or another real‑time OS.
• Implement command handling, telemetry processing, data management, fault detection, and subsystem interfaces.
• Create and maintain software documentation, interface definitions, test records, and configuration-controlled releases.
