Qualifications

• BS in computer science, computer engineering, aerospace, electrical engineering, or equivalent proficiency.
• US person (ITAR) — no security clearance required.
• Experience with real-time or embedded software on hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own core flight software subsystems end to end, including telemetry, command sequencing, and radios.
• Write C++ for a Linux flight computer; Python for rapid tooling; ensure memory-safe, thread-safe code.
• Lead design reviews, flatsat, and hardware-in-the-loop verification; deploy changes to orbit.
• Diagnose anomalies from telemetry; decide safe commands; fix root causes.
• Mentor engineers; improve documentation; raise code quality.
• Defend design decisions with data to GNC, avionics, and leadership.
