Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing software for high reliability embedded systems.
• Experience with NASA Core Flight System Framework and OpenC3/Cosmos.
• Familiarity with spacecraft avionics interfaces and protocols (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, CAN, SpaceWire, RS-422, Ethernet).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and issue-tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify software to meet system specifications including performance requirements.
• Draft and release software documentation such as requirements and design specs.
• Develop and deliver embedded system software in collaboration with hardware and software teams.
• Define system-level hardware and software interfaces and write interface specs for sub-systems.
• Develop software test procedures and test suites for unit, system, and regression testing.
